Hi Dave, Leeza and team,
The Falcons and Drones experience was brilliant! To watch those gorgeous falcons inflight, displaying their natural instincts, was indeed a privilege. The team presenting were so friendly and informative, the educational experience and interaction with the birds, fantastic! Thankyou so much for providing the opportunity. Just a quick note to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent visit to Raptor Domain. Definitely the highlight of our weeklong trip to KI for Axel (6) and Ajax (4) (aka 'the nature boys') and ourselves. The experience was great, educational and, best of all, interactive. I think that the price of under $40 for the 'tribe' (2 kids 2 adults) and the length of the experience (over an hour), was excellent value. From the welcome at the front desk and and the game for the kids, through to the professionalism of the presenters, it was thoroughly enjoyable. They say to never work with children or animals, however considering the difficulty of the subjects you handle, any minor issues with the birds were handled with diplomacy and humour! Thank you for enriching our holiday to KI and providing an educational and memorable experience for our whole family. We are recommending you highly to family and friends, and will continue to do so. We wish you many more years of success with Raptor Domain. Matthew, Catherine, Axel & Ajax Glandore, SA
Without a doubt the most informed and easily the best raptor display I have ever seen. The information and interactive nature of the presentations place them in a world of their own. Steve Morvell
Excellent, both the bird show and reptiles were fabulous, well done guys, worth the trip to KI Grant and Julie O’Dea
I've just been to the 'Raptor Domain' for the second year straight, and enjoyed it even more than last year. They have added an excellent 'venom presentation' this year, which I found very informative - and capably presented by Nina, who also did the 'reptile show', and shared the 'Birds of Prey' demonstration with Dave. Two or three 'new' birds added since last year made it all the more interesting for me, but I still love 'Casper'!
Make this one of your 'must see' things to do when you visit Kangaroo Island, and make sure you see all three presentations, 'venom', 'birds', and 'reptiles' - they're all 'hands-on', and educational as well as entertaining, and the presenters are first class. You won't be disappointed - and the kids will love it.

A very personal close up experience. You put the glove on and get to have owls and kookaburras land on your arm and you can pat them. they hop along the audiences lap. It is just AMAZING. Bart our presenter was great...friendly, funny and full of information. We let the lady on the front counter know that my 16 year old daughter was really interested in the owls and Bart brought out extra for her so she was speechless at the end of it. (quite a feat if you know 16 yo girls). Have been to the shows at Healesville and Cairns Tropical Zoo but this is just so much more intimate. Bart does such a good job at making sure you get plenty of great pics too. The lady at the counter was really friendly and patient and had young kids doing treasure hunt activities to keep them occupied while we waited for show time and had some great stories to tell as well. If you go to Kangaroo Island you have got to do this show!!! Barry P
OMG!!! This show was fantastic. It was informative, interactive and the handlers really knew all about their Birds of Prey. We were in a group of 11 people, 8 of whom have an intellectual disability and ALL the staff at the show were extremely patient whilst allowing all of our group along with 10 or so other visitors to have the birds land on their hands and laps.A must see for anyone of any age or ability. Especially the very talented Buzzard!!!
Many thanks to all staff involved with your raptor presentation which I attended a couple of days ago.
I felt that the presentation demonstrated the importance of making sure that we secure a future for these particular birds.
In addition your approach was a shining example of how fragile life can be for these birds and how you mange and care for their rehabilitation and life with in your safe environment.
There could be such as temptation to ‘sensationalise’ or ‘over dramatize’ these spectacular birds for ‘show’ purposes, but instead you made us aware of their ‘stand alone’ beauty and importance in the world.
Thank you so much.

Easily the most informative wildlife presentations we have seen anywhere. The presenters were both excellent, and although we are quite knowledgeable about birds of prey we learnt a lot. The same was true with the reptile display. We were impressed by the focus on imparting lots of information in a relaxed atmosphere, and the refreshing lack of "Disneyfication." Highly recommended.

The Raptor In-Flight display was a great experience and great value for money. The interaction with the birds was wonderful. Casper the Barn Owl sat on my lap and I was able to hold a Blue-Winged Kookaburra. The show was very informative, educational and you could see that the handlers enjoyed their work. As my husband and I are avid wildlife photographers we took the opportunity to have a private viewing.(At a cost that is well worth the money) We were able to select which birds we would like to photograph. The viewing went for an hour which gave us plenty of time to spend with each one. Dave is very knowledgeable and passionate about the raptors. We both loved every minute of it and would certainly recommend either of the shows.
We have just recently visited your park and wanted to say a big THANKYOU to you all.
The rapture talks were just the best and i was in awe of the knowledge of the keeper as well as how close we got to the birds, My favourite was the wedge tail.
We have given a great review on Trip Advisor, but just wanted to say thankyou to you and your staff.
We both hope that you get all the support that is possible to keep you going as I think your park is such a valuable asset to the island and to education.
keep up the good work and we will see you again on our next trip over to Kangaroo Island.

We purchased a ticket for all three shows at Raptor Domain recently. For $35 an adult we got entry to Venom Pit, Birds of Prey Free Flight show and Fang-Tastic.
The times of these shows flow well as you get about half an hour break in-between for toilet, coffee/food break. We placed a lunch order at the Talons restaurant (more of a food truck but neither the less yummy!) before we headed in for the free flight show so all we had to do after was collect our food, no need to wait for it to cook and shovel it down before the next show. We had the Lobster Burger and Predator Burger, which were both very tasty, there Predator Sauce is delicious.
The shows are very interactive, you can hold most birds and reptiles featured, and the keepers are all very informative and willing to answer any questions. At the end of the birds of prey show I was lucky enough to hold a wedge-tailed eagle (at a small fee) this was the highlight of my day.Thank you to everyone at Raptor Domain for such a wonderful day.
Thankyou very much for having us Wednesday night, all 76 of us. The students and teachers loved the campsite, and I think it is wonderful also. I took a couple of photos and have attached them for you.

Hi Dave & Leeza & team!
Thanks once again for another excellent set of private photo sessions with Angus, Chantelle and your wonderful birds for our photo safari groups these past few weeks. It’s always excellent and mutely enjoyed by everyone! Thanks also for letting us see the exercising of the peregrine - very cool! A great added bonus for our guests to be able to hold the wedge-tail too, amazing! Attached are some pics.
Please also thank Angus and Chantelle for me too. They are great.
Cheerio, and thanks again.Chris Bray
